Who Are We?
The Pillar Society is comprised of security intelligence professionals who are former members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Security Service and
previous employees of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS).
Although Pillar Society members are no longer formally associated with
the RCMP or CSIS, we remain dedicated to advancing the security of Canadians by supporting the Canadian Intelligence Community
and contributing to the broader national interest.

Pillar Society Speakers' Series - featuring Andrew Coyne
| Join us Oct 20th at the Shenkman Centre for an informative and lively discussion with The Globe and Mail columnist Andrew Coyne. Mr. Coyne has worked previously for The National Post, Maclean’s and Southam News, contributing as well to a wide range of other publications in Canada and abroad, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, National Review, and The Walrus. He is also a member of the At Issue panel on CBC’s The National. | Mr. Coyne specializes in Canadian politics, economics, and public policy. He argues that Canada faces an unprecedented national security and productivity crisis, driven by psychological unpreparedness, a weak and under equipped military, insufficient independent foreign intelligence collection capability and rising geopolitical coercion from a shifting U.S. foreign policy. |
